Every summer my family goes to the beach for one week. We have done this for a number of years even before the children were born. It is an annual event we all look forward to.

There is some special preparation that comes into play when heading to the beach. First and foremost is skin care. Since we will spend the majority of our time on the beach in the sun it is extremely important to bring a good supply of sunscreen skin lotion. I get all kinds of sunscreen from sprays to oils to lotions. This variety makes it possible to please everyone and makes me sure that they are getting the sun protection they need.

I am most fond of the sunscreen skin lotion. I feel skin lotion gives the best protection from those damaging sun rays. The sprays can be blown away by the ocean breeze and coverage can be random. The oils are good if the person using them has a good base and is more tolerant to the sun. I bring it all and let the family use it as they please making sure that some sort of sun protection is on their person every day.
