skin lotion Happy Halloween! The mountains in the colder parts of the country are beginning to open their snowy doors to snowboarders, skiers and tubers who are dying to get an early start on winter fun. What I have learned when heading to the slopes this time of year and deeper into winter is how important it is to have anti-fogging goggles and protective skin lotion. Snow is like a mirror for UV rays that bounce off the ground and right into a skier or snowboarders face. After getting a really bad goggle burn one year while on a winter vacation in Whistler, I have never forgotten to apply protective skin lotion before getting on a chair lift.

Goggle burns may be funny to look at but they sure aren’t as exciting to have. Skin lotion is the key to keeping a single face skin tone. Not to mention the blistery mountain air is murder on healthy skin. It is the quickest way to go from moisturized to cracking. I don’t think, I’ll be on the mountain for awhile but when I’m there you better believe skin lotion is going to be in my jacket pocket.
