I Need Skin Lotion and Fast |

Last night I got out of the bath and after I dried off I couldn’t believe what I was feeling. The lower part of my legs felt like I was running my hands across sand paper. I knew that the cooler weather would affect my skin, but it just started cooling off, and my skin already feels like sand paper? Obviously I am in need of skin lotion and the faster the better.
I ran into the bedroom sans clothing, which happens to be where I keep my skin lotion, and when I opened the door to my bedside table, I noticed that my skin lotion was almost gone. Gone! I knew it had been a while since I used the skin lotion, but had it been that long? Obviously it had if I didn’t even remember that I was almost out of it. Luckily, I had enough left in the container of skin lotion to slather some all over my body, with a concentrated amount on my lower legs. I knew it wouldn’t take long before the sand paper feeling would disappear on my legs, but I knew it was going to take every day use of the skin lotion to keep that sandy feeling at bay.
As soon as I found my pj's, which happened to have been laying across the bed right where I put them this morning when I took them off. I put them on and headed straight to the computer, with my container of skin lotion in hand. I was allowing the skin lotion to soak in for a little while, and then I was going to add a little more to the bottom of my legs, in hopes that I could jump-start the cure to the dry skin. I hoped this wasn't a sign of what was to come this winter, but I couldn't really spend a lot of time thinking about that. I surfed to one of my favorite websites, Living Your Best, whose awesome website can be found at http://www.livinyourbest.com, and ordered not one, but two bottles of Bliss Body Care by Bliss Women Naked Body Butter 8.5 oz. I've been using their skin lotion from Living Your Best for years, and there is nothing like their Naked Body Butter. I just hope I have enough left in my container to keep my legs happy until the new containers of skin lotion arrive. If not, my husband may think that somehow a package of sandpaper landed in the bed, and we can't have that. |
