Skin Lotion
One day I went roller blading with my daughter and some of her friends. We were having fun and enjoying ourselves. I slipped and a guy caught me as I fell. He was nice and attractive and later came up to me, offered to buy me a soda and told me he thought I had remarkably soft skin. I have used skin lotion all my life but it was nice to hear someone actually say something like that because it was proof the skin lotion was working.
My daughter and her friends teased me about the guy talking to me. He was nice and we skated together a couple of times during the afternoon. He was there with his kids as well. They were younger and apparently it was his weekend to have them.
Afterwards, I told my daughter and her friends how important it is to get an early start to take care of their skin and use a beauty lotion. My skin lotion preferences have changed over time but the important thing is that I kept at it and it paid off in having younger looking and softer, well-moisturized skin. It is never too soon to start being aware of things to help when it comes to taking care of one's self and the girls got a good example of that on that Saturday afternoon.
