Using Natural Skin Care Products My Resolution for 2010 |

Call it perfect timing, but today when I was looking online for some natural skin care, I ran across this skin cleaner and moisturizer and ordered it. I can't wait to get it, either, because based on the product description, this product might be just what I need to help combat dry winter skin. It's called Payot Cassonade and it is a mixture of essential oils and brown sugar crystals. I'll use it on my face to start. The essential oils include lemon, verbena, and vanilla. It's a body scrub and moisturizer at the same time.
Having heard numerous times that the skin absorbs much of what is put on it, I've been on a quest to find natural skin care all winter. I've had some luck online, but this product is the most versatile that I've found for both removing dead skin and moisturizing it at the same time. I had heard that verbena and sugar were good products for the skin, and lemon essential oil has remarkable properties. I hope that this natural skin care product comes with the vanilla scent in place, although having vanilla perfume on my skin might drive me to the cookie jar more often than not.
I found this Payot Cassonade at Living Your Best located at http://www.livinyourbest.com, a site that has some really terrific natural skin care products, among other things. Beauty lotions are so important in the winter and exfoliating is something I like to do but don't like using the stronger acids. The sun in our area is intense, even in the winter, and when I use the stronger chemical products, I have to remember to use sunscreen when I go outdoors, a ritual that makes sense in the summer but one I think unnecessary in the winter. With natural skin care from the Payot Cassonade, I may not need to use an SPF after I give myself a treatment with this product.
As 2010 comes in, I've already made a resolution to replace my body lotions and skin creams with more natural skin care products. It would be hard to do if I shopped in the local retail world, but in just a few minutes, I can find all sorts of good, healthy natural skin care products for my skin to take as good care of it as I can. After all, the skin is the body's largest organ, and if I can give it the best treatment possible, it should look good for a long time to come.
