Skin Creams And Raising Preteen Girls |

I am raising my eleven year old step-granddaughter Alisha. Because she is at the age of puberty she can be quite challenging and difficult at times. There are hormones raging through her body and the poor thing doesn’t have a clue what to do with them. Unfortunately kids do not come with any type of instruction book so I am finding out what works and what does not via a process of trial and error. One of thing I have found helpful when it comes to Alisha is spending special time together with her without her brothers or her grandfather. When I spend special time with her she communicates with me more candidly. Sometimes we watch movies together. We also spend some evenings pampering ourselves with skin creams, lotions and other natural skin care products such as mud masks. Alisha enjoys learning what different skin creams are supposed to do. Watching her apply the skin creams to her face and body and hearing her voice her opinions is actually rather sweet and amusing. Sometimes she is like a forty year old woman in the body of an eleven year old.
