I ended up deciding on what was said to be a subtle vanilla skin lotion among a couple other small natural skin care products. Fast forward to Christmas morning and my mom loved unwrapping the beauty lotions. A couple days later while the whole family was coming together for one last dinner and movie night before we went home, after my mom walked into the room, my grandma asked what kind of perfume she was wearing because it smelled so good. She thought for a second, smiled and said, “Just wearing the beauty lotion I got for Christmas.”

My grandma laughed and that was that. It was simple moment in time but it made me really happy because it meant I gone with the right online purchase. I am going to have to thank my friend when I see her for steering my holiday gift in the right direction. I’m sure tonight there will be more then a few women turning to scented skin lotions for a subtle addition to their New Year’s outfits.
